At Rocking L Horse Training Services, LLC, we strongly believe in a lesson, backed by education, using time-tested training techniques utilized by professional horse men and women in the industry. We explain the why and how of what we do. We teach a form-to-function approach. As a Certified Equine Specialist, I feel a responsibility in my business to offer and share, with passion, this very same comprehensive education to my clients, in the same ways and techniques the professionals educated me. One thing is for sure, we never stop learning, because perfect is hard to come by.

About us
Michael and Nancy Lazerine have owned and operated the Rocking L since its conception. Michael’s experience with horses dates back to the early 70s. His disciplines include rodeo bareback riding, team roping (header) and ranch sorting. His future interests include cutting and working cow horse. Michael is a graduate with honors from Global Equine Academy as a Certified Equine Specialist, with a major in professional training. Nancy helps behind the scenes with the operation of the horse business. We look forward to the opportunity to help you reach your goals.
We are located in north central Minnesota, approx. 2.5 hours from the Twin Cities metro area. The facility rests on 20 wooded acres and includes a covered arena, 120′ x 65′. Our home is situated on the same property. A meal is included, along with refreshments, for our clients during clinic hours.
